Perhaps you are coming to ControlBoard® after years of scheduling your company using spreadsheets and whiteboards. Congratulations on your success!

Or maybe you’re augmenting your existing systems and processes to take advantage of our best-in-class construction scheduling.

Either way, reaping the rewards of better scheduling depends on getting your company data into ControlBoard®.

Almost every entity ControlBoard® tracks can be imported from and synced up with other systems. This includes not just the basics like customers and employees, but also complex data like shifts, job activities, and timed lookups (such as employee licenses and equipment maintenance).

Where to begin…

When you sign up, our onboarding specialists will evaluate your situation, your existing data, processes, and systems, and will provide you with tools and assistance for importing the data you need to make effective use of ControlBoard®.

Spreadsheet Import

Most of our customers start with companies (customers and subcontractors), employees, and jobs. But we also handle equipment, job activities, job costs, materials, and production quantities, as well as existing resource allocations. We can do this once, using the spreadsheet templates we provide. You can update that data yourself right in the application as needed.

Direct Integrations

If you have more sophisticated requirements, we integrate directly with a host of ERP, accounting, project management, payroll, and fleet tracking packages. We support public APIs like Procore and Sage Intacct, and can even connect to web-facing databases like Foundation.

Owning Your Data

Onboarding isn’t just about getting data in; it’s about making it useful. Once your data is in ControlBoard®, you truly own it:

• SQL Data Warehouse: For advanced reporting, our data warehouse option allows you to use the BI and SQL tools you already trust. It reloads on demand and can be configured in minutes.
• GraphQL API: Access your data programmatically and interactively as you need. The sky is the limit for custom applications and workflows.

In most cases, we can load your data and have you running ControlBoard® the same day. The data onboarding process is an excellent opportunity to review your current processes and make them even better!
