ControlBoard and Sage Intacct
What flows where
Your system keeps the money. ControlBoard runs the work.
Changes are read every six hours and whenever an administrator asks. Timesheets go when a pay week’s batch is sent; project fields as they change, or on request.
Sage Intacct
Projects, customers, employees, rates, approvals, payroll and the ledger. ControlBoard never approves a timesheet and no rate leaves ControlBoard.
- Projects as jobs
- Employees as people
- Customers the projects name
- Your own project fields you choose to read
- Job contacts and budget lines built from each project
- Approved hours as draft timesheets, one per person and week
- Chosen project fields, such as planned start
ControlBoard®
Schedules the labor and equipment, tells the field, collects the hours and keeps job cost and the forecast live.
Getting connected
Give ControlBoard a Sage Intacct Web Services user that can read.
Say which projects and employees count, with rules your administrator can read and change.
Review the first match: projects link by their project number, people by employee number.
When you are ready, ControlBoard support turns on sending, for the fields you agree.
Sage Intacct bills each request, so ControlBoard reads only what changed, in large pages, and keeps a count of every call it makes in the connection’s history. Your own project fields can come in beside the standard ones, and a job’s ship-to, contact or parent project can be read with it.
Each project field ControlBoard may send is approved by ControlBoard support for your connection; nothing else is written.
