ControlBoard vs Bridgit Bench

Bridgit Bench is workforce planning: it helps general and specialty contractors decide which people go on which projects, months ahead, with skills, certifications and forecasting by role. ControlBoard® schedules the day as well as the year, with labor, crews, equipment, rentals and subcontractors on one board sent to the field. The hours, daily log and payroll file come back from the same schedule. If you staff project teams, Bridgit is built for that. If you dispatch crews and iron and pay them from the schedule, ControlBoard is.

Common questions

Is ControlBoard a Bridgit Bench alternative?
For some companies. Bridgit Bench plans which people go on which projects, with skills matching and scenario planning, and suits contractors staffing project teams. ControlBoard schedules labor and equipment day by day, sends the schedule to the field and collects the hours. A construction company that dispatches crews and machines will usually find ControlBoard the closer fit.
Does Bridgit Bench schedule equipment?
Bridgit’s own site, as reviewed on 31 October 2026, describes workforce planning for people and does not describe equipment scheduling. ControlBoard puts equipment, rentals and material on the same board as labor, marks a machine booked twice, and plans the moves and trips that get it to the job.
How do prices compare?
Bridgit does not publish prices; its site offers a demo and a conversation with an expert. ControlBoard publishes its prices per person by what each person does: $4 a month for a field worker with the app, $14 with the time clock, $110 for a scheduler, and 10% off for paying yearly.
