Scheduling
How does ControlBoard® give me the schedule at a glance?
ControlBoard’s home schedule gives the office the week in one look: the hours scheduled for each of the next seven
days, where the work is today on a map, and who is scheduled twice. The scheduled-twice list covers the next two
weeks, worst first, and always counts every job. One click opens the full board on a chosen day. Project managers can
narrow the view to the running jobs they manage. It is a starting point each morning, so problems surface before the
crews leave the yard.
What you can do with it
- See the week ahead at a glance
- See where the work is today
- Find who is scheduled twice

Common questions
Can I see today's crews on a map?
Yes. The home schedule maps the running jobs and who is scheduled on them today. Each pin opens its job, and the
full jobs and resources map is one step away. The home map is for looking only, so nobody changes the schedule by
accident.
Can a project manager see only their jobs?
Yes. A project manager can switch the home view to the running jobs where they are the project manager, and start
with that view each time. The scheduled-twice list still counts every job, so conflicts elsewhere are not hidden.
How far ahead does ControlBoard check for people scheduled twice?
The scheduled-twice list looks two weeks ahead and shows each person or machine scheduled in two places, worst
first, up to twenty. From there one step opens the resource schedule, where the conflicts can be moved or removed.
