Scheduling
Can ControlBoard® show the schedule on a calendar?
ControlBoard shows scheduled work on a month or week calendar, beside the job and resource boards, so the office can
read the schedule the way most people think about time. Show only some jobs, or some people and equipment, to cut the
noise. Schedulers place people and machines on a day, set how many days the work lasts, and move, copy or stretch
assignments by dragging. Several assignments can shift together by working days, change status, or go to the crew’s
phones at once. People who may not schedule get a view-only calendar, so everyone reads the same plan.
What you can do with it

Common questions
Can I move several assignments at once on the calendar?
Yes. Select several assignments and shift them by a number of working days, set their status, or send them to the
crew’s phones together. You can also drag to move, copy or stretch an assignment, so a rain delay is a quick
change rather than an afternoon of edits.
Can people view the calendar without changing it?
Yes. Anyone can browse the calendar without changing it, and people who may not schedule always see it view-only.
Field leads and project managers read the same plan the scheduler works from, without the risk of moving something
by accident.
Can the calendar show just one job or one machine?
Yes. Pick the jobs, people or equipment you want, and the calendar shows only their work until you clear the
choice. That makes it easy to read one job’s month or check where a single machine is going next week.
