Project management

How does ControlBoard® show everything about one job in one place?

ControlBoard gives each job one dashboard: how it is doing, who is on it, what it costs, what the field did and how it is set up. An alert queue ranks what needs a decision on the job, worst first. It runs from needs starting soon to hours awaiting approval, missing daily logs, overdue RFIs, open permits and people booked twice. Staffing by week sets people scheduled against the labor forecast by trade. Money, unit cost per crew-day, files, forms and contacts sit on their own tabs, each shown only to those allowed. A closed job freezes its plan, while time and costs still land.

What you can do with it

Common questions

Does ControlBoard warn about problems on a job?
Yes. Each job’s alert queue lists what needs a decision, worst first: needs starting soon, hours still to fill, spending over budget, hours waiting for approval, scheduled days with no daily log, overdue RFIs and submittals, open permits, and people booked twice or missing a qualification. Each row clears once fixed.
Can we see if a job is staffed for the coming weeks?
Yes. The job’s staffing view sets people scheduled against people the labor forecast calls for, by trade, for this week and the next seven. Short weeks show red, and a new need for the missing people starts from the cell.
What happens to a job when it is completed or cancelled?
Its plan freezes: dates, schedule, needs, activities and labor forecast stop changing. Time, costs, daily logs and documents still come in, so late invoices and final hours land on the job. Choosing an open status lets the team plan again.
