Forms and daily logs
How does ControlBoard® let us decide who fills a form and how it is filed?
ControlBoard lets each form say what it is about, a job, a resource or a company, and who may fill it. A form can be
limited to people with certain roles in the app, or opened to anyone it is sent to. It can be filled once and
corrected, or filled again and again with every filling kept. It is filed either as answers you can report on or as a
signed PDF, a choice that holds once the form is in use so records stay consistent. Permits add a default and longest
length, with their own closing and cancelling questions.

Common questions
Who can build forms in ControlBoard?
Administrators, managers and anyone given the forms builder right. The rest of the company fills the forms they
build, in the app or from a link they are sent, depending on how each form is set up.
Can a form keep every filling instead of overwriting it?
Yes. A form can be filled once per job, resource or company, where filling it again corrects the answers. Or it
can be repeated, keeping every filling, which suits daily inspections and toolbox talks.
Can a form be filed as a signed PDF?
Yes. Each form is filed either as answers reportable per question or as a signed document, a signed PDF. That
choice cannot change once the form has been filled in, so past filings never change shape.
