Scheduling

How does ControlBoard® let us choose the filters each screen offers?

ControlBoard lets administrators and managers decide which filters each screen offers, what they are called and which show from the start, for everyone in the company. Filters can be added on the company’s own fields, renamed to the company’s words, reordered or hidden. Every screen that lists jobs, people or equipment can filter by division and type. Administrators also keep shared views: named filters saved for everyone, which can open by default. Hiding a filter never changes what a person may see, because access is set by their subsidiaries. One reset returns every screen to the standard filters.

Common questions

Can we save a filtered view for the whole company?
Yes. An administrator saves a named view from a screen and shares it with everyone or chosen people. A shared view can open by default, so a superintendent lands on their own jobs. Only administrators change or delete shared views.
Can we rename filters to match our own words?
Yes. Each filter on each screen can take your company’s name for it, move up or down, start on the bar or wait behind a menu. Clearing the name puts the standard one back.
Does hiding the subsidiary filter change what people can see?
No. Hiding a filter only removes the chip. What each person may see is set by the subsidiaries on their user record, so security never depends on how a screen is filtered.
