Time and payroll
How does ControlBoard® show the office what the field needs from it?
ControlBoard gives the office one view of the field’s work waiting on it. It shows hours to approve by job, daily logs
sent in but not yet accepted over the last four weeks, and a trend of scheduled against actual hours. A project
manager sees at a glance which jobs are behind on approvals and opens straight to them. The trend runs from eight
weeks back to four weeks ahead, so a gap between plan and actual shows up while there is time to act. The chart
downloads as a picture or PDF, or goes out by message.
What you can do with it
- Approve hours by job
- See the daily logs waiting
- Compare scheduled and actual hours

Common questions
Can we see which jobs still have hours to approve?
Yes. ControlBoard lists each job with the hours not yet approved out of all the hours logged. One click opens that
job’s field time for the same dates, and the pay week opens for approving every job at once.
Can we compare scheduled hours to actual hours?
Yes. ControlBoard charts scheduled against actual hours from eight weeks back to four weeks ahead. The actual line
stops at the last finished week, so a partial week never looks like a shortfall.
How do we know which daily logs are waiting?
ControlBoard lists the job-days the field sent in that the office has not accepted, over the last four weeks. Each
job opens to its logs, and the full log queue holds them all, so nothing waits unseen.
