Project management
How does ControlBoard® set what every dashboard shows for the company?
ControlBoard lets the company decide what its dashboards show, so everyone starts from the same view of the business.
An administrator of the whole company picks which panels each tab of the home dashboard and the job dashboard shows,
and that becomes the company default. Each person can still change their own panels, and can always go back to the
company’s choice. A good layout found on a dashboard can be saved as the company default from there. If the company
wants a fresh start, ControlBoard’s built-in defaults come back in one step.

Common questions
Can we give everyone the same dashboard layout?
Yes. A whole-company administrator chooses the panels for each tab of the home and job dashboards and saves them
as the company default. That is what every person starts from, so project managers and supers see the same numbers
in the same place.
Can people still hide panels they do not use?
Yes. A person’s own panel choices win over the company default. Each person can go back to the company’s layout
whenever they want, so nobody is locked into a view that does not fit their job.
Who can change the company dashboard defaults?
Only an administrator of the whole company. An administrator of one subsidiary does not see the company setting.
The whole-company administrator can also return every tab to ControlBoard’s built-in defaults in one step.
