Time and payroll

How does a foreman enter crew time in ControlBoard®?

ControlBoard gives the foreman one crew time sheet, on the phone in ControlBoard Field or in a browser, and both show the same sheet. It opens on today with the foreman’s crew and every job the crew is on, so hours for people, equipment and material go in where the work happened. Start and stop times can fill the whole crew at once. The crew’s daily log, with photos and quantities put in place, sits beside the hours. The foreman submits a day or the whole week, and hours and log go to the office together. With no signal, the day waits on the phone and sends later.

What you can do with it

  • Enter the crew's hours on the phone or in a browser
  • Write the crew's daily log
  • Submit the day or the week

Common questions

Can a foreman enter time for the whole crew on a phone?
Yes. In ControlBoard Field the foreman’s sheet opens on today with the crew and each job they are on. Hours go in per person and per machine, start and stop times can fill every open row, and a foreman who leads several crews switches between them.
Does crew time work without a signal?
Yes. Nothing leaves the phone until the foreman saves the day, and with no signal the day waits and sends later. Photos and quantities on the crew’s daily log wait the same way, so a remote jobsite never loses a day.
Can the foreman submit the whole week at once?
Yes. The foreman can submit one day on a job, or the whole week across every job. Hours and the crew’s daily log go together. A submitted day can be taken back until the office has reviewed it.
