Equipment and compliance

How does ControlBoard® track certifications, licences and expiry dates?

ControlBoard keeps one company list of qualifications and records who holds each one, with dates, reference and the certificate itself. People, equipment, crews and subcontractors all carry their compliance in the same way. A lapsed qualification shows in red and stops matching job needs, so nobody is scheduled on work they are not cleared for. Notices go out each night before a licence expires, by email and in the app, to HR, accounting or the equipment manager and, if you choose, the person themselves. Equipment service plans by days or meter keep inspections on time, and working-abroad rules cover people sent to other countries.

What you can do with it

  • Keep the certifications and licences you track in one list
  • Send notices before a licence expires

Common questions

Does ControlBoard warn us before a certification expires?
Yes. You choose the warning window and the days before expiry when notices go out, and who receives them. ControlBoard sends notices each night by email and in the app, never by text, and can tell the licence holder too.
Can we keep certificates and renewal history in one place?
Yes. Each qualification a person or machine holds keeps its dates, a reference and the uploaded certificate. Renewing adds a new term, and the history keeps past terms with their proof, so an auditor sees the whole record.
Can ControlBoard schedule equipment maintenance and inspections?
Yes. A service plan sets how often a machine needs service, by days, by meter units or both, and when it counts as due soon. A service can also renew a certification. Each time the work is done, it is recorded on the machine.
