Scheduling

How does ControlBoard® let us set it up for the way our company works?

ControlBoard is set up once for the whole company and then adjusted where the business needs it. Administrators and managers keep the organization, subsidiaries and divisions, catalogs, custom fields, shifts and compliance lists. Accounting keeps how money and time work: cost codes, pay periods, pay types, holidays and time policies, set for the company and changed per subsidiary, division, job or person. Sign-in security, two-step sign-in and the sign-in log sit with the administrators. Each subsidiary’s administrator sees only what is theirs. Every person keeps their own preferences, such as light or dark screens, without changing anyone else’s.

What you can do with it

  • Set ControlBoard up for the way your company works
  • Set money and time rules in one place
  • Let each user keep their own preferences

Common questions

Can different subsidiaries or jobs follow different time rules?
Yes. ControlBoard sets time policies, such as punch rules, drive time, certified payroll and overtime, for the whole company, then lets them change per subsidiary, division, job or person. Each subsidiary can also keep its own time zone.
Can people undo their own schedule changes?
Yes. ControlBoard lets people undo their own schedule changes for a window the administrator sets, 48 hours by default and anywhere from 24 to 72. People undo only their own changes, and the administrator decides whether undo works per screen or across screens.
What sign-in security does ControlBoard offer?
Administrators set password rules, turn on two-step sign-in and Sign in with Microsoft, and read the sign-in log. Each person changes their own password and sets up their own two-step sign-in. Administrators of one subsidiary do not see the whole company’s security settings.
