Dispatch and the field

How does ControlBoard® keep a record of every message sent to the field?

ControlBoard keeps a read-only log of every message sent and received: who sent it, who got it, how it went and whether it was delivered. When someone in the field says they never got the schedule, the office can check in seconds and see why a text or email failed. The log narrows by dates, job, contact, direction, delivery and channel, and it exports to Excel, CSV or PDF or prints. Administrators, managers and accounting can open it. Private messages stay private: people see only the ones they are part of, and only administrators see them all.

Common questions

Can we prove a schedule text or email was delivered?
Yes. ControlBoard’s message log shows each message per recipient and whether it reached them. When it did not, the log says why. A message to three people shows as three lines, so every recipient’s delivery is checked on its own.
How far back does the message history go?
The log opens on the last 90 days and can be widened to go further back. It shows the newest 500 messages at a time, so filters by job, contact, dates or channel bring older messages into view. The history covers texts, email, in-app messages and pushes.
Can we export or print the message log?
Yes. ControlBoard exports the filtered log to Excel, CSV or PDF, prints it, or sends it as a file. Lines sent from a list or chart name the screen they came from, so you can find what went to whom.
