Project management

How does ControlBoard® show every job and how each one is doing?

ControlBoard gives the office one live list of every job and how each is doing. It shows scheduled hours for the next four weeks against the four before, staffing, open needs, alerts and budget use. A project manager or owner sees which jobs need attention without opening each one. The list narrows by status, company, subsidiary, division or manager, and one click opens a job’s dashboard. Jobs can be added by hand or loaded from a spreadsheet, and the list goes out as Excel, CSV or PDF, or by email, text or message. Money columns show only to people allowed to see costs.

What you can do with it

  • See every job and how it is doing in one list
  • Narrow the list and open any job's dashboard
  • Add jobs by hand or from a spreadsheet, and export the list

Common questions

Can we find a job quickly in a long job list?
Yes. ControlBoard searches the job list as you type and narrows it by job status, kind, company, subsidiary, division or manager. It starts on the open jobs, so finished work stays out of the way until you ask for it.
Can we import or export our jobs?
Yes. ControlBoard exports the job list as shown to Excel, CSV or PDF, prints it, or sends it by email, text or message. It also produces a spreadsheet of jobs you can edit and load back, so a batch of new or changed jobs goes in at once.
Who sees job budgets and costs in the job list?
Only people allowed to see costs. ControlBoard shows budget, actual and scheduled money to them and hides it from everyone else. A foreman can use the same list for hours, staffing and open needs without seeing what the job is worth.
